Halloween mascot jack skellington is now with us as an amigurumi jellyfish. I have never made such a different and beautiful amigurumi jellyfish before. I thank the designer for this great idea. You can make the tentacles of the jellyfish in two different ways. Straight or curly. I have written in detail how to do them below. Spooky Jack Amigurumi Jellyfish
Materials:
• Bernat blanket xl white and black
• Polyfil
• Size j hook
• Tapestry needle
• Stitch marker
This will make a jumbo jellyfish
• Big twist posh white and black
• 4 mm hook
This will make a smaller jellyfish
Stitch terms:
sc- single crochet
dc- double crochet
st- stitch
hdc- half double crochet
inc- increase
dec- decrease
slst- slip stitch
ch- chain
mr- magic ring
blo- back loop only
f/o- fasten off
Before you start
These are instruction on how to make the tentacles when you get to R 14 and R 15.
When you see curly tentacle and straight tentacle do the following.
Curly tentacle
In white ch 32. in the second ch from the hook slst..
Sc, hdc in each st until the base slst in the st you started the ch.
You should have 8 tentacles in the end.
Straight tentacle
In black ch 24 starting in the second ch from the hook slst all the way down (23)
Slst in the same st you started your ch in you should have 8 tentacles in the end.
Starting from the top
In white.

4. (sc2,inc)x8 (32)

Eyes (X2)
In black sc 6 in a mr
inc x6

make 2.
Sew between R 6 and R10 about 5st apart.
Mouth
In black embroider a slight smile across the bottom of the face.
Add vertical lines resembling stitches across smile.
Embroider nostrils as well.
Frills
In front loop of R13 attach white yarn with a sc.
sc, hdc, dc in the next st.
dc, hdc, sc in the next st.
Repeat until the end and slst into the first st f/o.
