I’m with you guys with the long-legged crochet teddy bear pattern. You are in the right place to make a nice play and sleeping companion for your children. Unlike crochet bear amigurumi toys, it has a long length. You can work with any yarn you want, it’s entirely up to you to use a half cotton or plush yarn. There will be only minor changes in size. Our designer used Alize Cotton yarn and a 2 mm crochet hook in this work. Since its legs are buttoned, the cute teddy bear will be active.

Sewing details
Sew the head to the body. Advice from the author: mark with markers in front the middle of the hole on the head and on the body; we take a thread, thread each end into a separate needle, start sewing from the middle (where we marked with markers) and move the corresponding needle to the left and right. So both needles will meet at the back exactly in the middle, and the head will be sewn symmetrically to the body. As you sew, stuff the neck area so that the head does not outweigh and fall.
Sew arms and legs with cotton / semi-cotton thread in 4 (or more) additions, as shown in the picture. This fastening is called button. We thread a long needle with a thread at the point of attachment of one arm / leg through the body, exit at the point of attachment of the second arm / leg, string the arm / leg onto the needle, then string the button and return through the same hole to the initial hole, string the second arm, leg, then button and again through the hand. We tie the ends of the thread into several knots and hide the thread in the body.
We sew a tail on the back so that our bear can sit and the tail does not interfere with him. This is approximately between 5 and 10 rows.
That’s all! Your long legged crochet teddy bear is ready!
