With Halloween approaching, how about making a nice easy crochet ghost? This awesome free crochet ghost pattern comes in two different versions. You can make two different crocheted ghosts, both with and without a crocheted witch hat, and decorate your home with these cute ghosts. Crochet Mini Ghost Free Pattern
Pattern: tinkeringcrochet
Materials:
White yarn (I use sz 6 parfait chunky).
Black yarn and accent color (for witch hat).
Pink yarn for blush (optional).
Crochet hook size: 4.5 mm.
Safety eyes size: 14 mm.
Stuffing.
Stitch marker.
Scissors.
Yarn needle.
Regular ghost
Begin here if making a ghost with no witch hat.
In white.
R1. 6 sc in a MR (6)
R2. inc x6 (12)
R3. (sc,inc)x6 (18)
R4. (2sc,inc)x6 (24)
R5-7. sc around (24) (3 rows)
Skip to R16 of the body and continue the pattern as written.
Ghost w/ witch hat
Begin here if making a ghost with a withc hat.
In black / main hat color:
R1. 4 sc in a MR (4)
R2. sc around (4)
R3. (sc,inc)x2 (6)
R4. dec, incx4 (9)
R5. dec, 7sc (8)
R6. (sc,inc)x4 (12)
Color change to the accent color:
R7. inc x12 (24)
On the last st, color change to black.
R8. sc around (24)
Insert a st marker into the BLO of the 1st
st of R.9 before continuing.
R9-10. In the FLO: (sc around) (24) (2 rows)
Color change to white:
For R11 you will be crocheting into the back loops from R9.
R11-15. sc around (24)(5 rows)
R16. 7 sc, BO, 8 sc, BO, 7 sc (24)
Bobble stitch= 5 dc (6 loops)
R17-19. sc around (24) (3 rows)
Regular ghost: place eyes in between R6 & R7 3-4 visible sts between.
Witch hat: Place eyes in between R14 & R15 3-4 visible sts between.
Make sure the hat brim is pushed down.
Eyes should be right by the arms.

Option 1:
