You can make a crochet cat and a crochet bear on a Halloween themed crochet pumpkin. Two different amigurumi pattern adventures await you in the same amigurumi pattern. The crochet black cat has a pumpkin hat on its head. The crochet bear has a witch hat on its head. Of course, you will learn how to make these accessories in this free amigurumi pattern. Crochet Cat And Bear
Materials:
– Cat:
• Hook: 5mm
• Orange chenille size 4 medium
• Black chenille size 4 medium
• Brown chenille size 4 medium
• White cotton/ acrylic yarn
• Pink cotton/ acrylic yarn
– Bear:
• Hook: 5mm and 3.5mm
• Orange chenille size 4 medium
• Brown chenille size 4 medium
• Purple velvet size 3 light
• Yellow velvet size 3 light

• Safety eyes (12mm)

Pumpkin
Use orange yarn and 5 mm hook.

Start stuffing (don’t stuff the pumpkin to much in order to shape it).

Finish stuffing.

Cut a long tail to shape the pumpkin.
Sew closed (pic.1).
Shape the pumpkin with the remaining yarn in 4 parts (pic.2).
Cat and bear
Use black yarn for the cat or brown yarn for the bear and a 5 mm hook.
R1. Slip knot, 5ch, starting from the 2nd ch from hook make 3sc, 3sc in the same st, 2sc, inc (10)
R2. inc, 2sc, 3inc, 2sc, 2inc (16)

R4-5. 24 sc (24) – 2 rounds
R6. 13sc, BO st (5 loops on the hook), 4sc, BO, 5sc (24)
Insert the safety eyes (12 mm) at R4-5, 3 visible st apart, just up the paws (pic.3).
Cut yarn leaving a long tail for sewing.
Ears (X2)
Cat:
R1. Slip knot, 3ch, starting from the 2nd ch from the hook make: sc, hdc.

Don’t close the magic ring.

Pumpkin hat
Using orange yarn and 5mm hook.
R1. 4 sc in a MR (4)
R2. 4 inc (8)
Fasten off, with an visible join.
Cut yarn leaving a long tail for sewing.
Stem
Using brown yarn and 5mm hook.
R1. Slip knot, 3ch, starting form the 2nd ch from the hook make 2sl st.
Cut yarn leaving a long tail for sewing.
Sew the stem on top of the pumpkin.
Witch hat
Start with purple yarn and a 3.5mm hook.
R1. 7 sc in a MR (7)
R2-3. 7 sc (7)
R4. (sc,inc)x3, sc (10)
R5. Change to yellow, 10 sc (10)
R6. Change to purple, FLO 10 inc (20)
Cut yarn leaving a long tail for sewing and FO with an invisible join.
According to the type and size of your yarn you may need to stuff the hat (I didn’t stuff mine).
Sewing
Sew the head to the pumpkin (in the center)
Sew the ears on R2-3.
Sew the pumpkin /witch hat on the head (in the center)
Sew the nose using pink cotton / acrylic between the eyes.
If you want you can give more expression to your plushie using white cotton/ acrylic yarn.
