The Ghost Crochet Teddy Bear Pattern

What you will need:

Yarn of your choice in the colors black, brown, light brown, orange, and white- I used weight 4 chenille.
Crochet needle according to your yarn weight – I used 4 mm.
Scissors.
Stitch markers.
Yarn needle.
Safety eyes – I used 9 mm.
Blush or soft pastels.
Black thread or yarn for emboridering the nose.
Stuffing.

Abbreviations:

MR- Magic ring
Sc- Single crochet
Dc- Double crochet
Slst- Slip stitch
FO- Fasten off
BLO- Back loop only
FLO- Front loop only
Ch- Chain
R- Round

The finished teddy bear strand at about 10 cm in height and 10 cm in width, however the size will depend on your yarn, hook size and tension.

Body

Start off with white yarn.

R2. 8 inc (16)

Add safety eyes between rows 8 and 9, 3 to 4 st apart, start stuffing.
Switch to dark brown.

FO, leave tail to close hole you should have a little ball.

Using the same arm or a thinner yarn in the same color, tie around in a cross to create the pumpkin shape, like pictured.
Attach black yarn as the handle.
You can also add a face in black felt to create the typical halloween basket.
