Legs

Lay the body flat to figure out how to place the legs. There will be 5 stitches designated for each leg, that will leave 2 stitches unworked. Using stitch markers, mark the two unworked stitches in the middle on each side. (photo D).

First leg

1-6. sc around (5) (30 stitches total).
Finish stuffing body. No need to stuff the legs.
FO, cut yarn leaving a long tail about 12 inches. (You’ll use this later to attach the keychain).

Second leg

Working other side, slst yarn into round 14 of body, leaving a long yarn tail. The second leg will be worked the same way as the first leg. (photos F&G).

For the second leg – use darning needle to thread through outside loops of remaining 5 stitches and pull tight. Weave yarn up to of head. Pull yarn through keychain then weave back through middle of head down to middle of back where the first leg yarn strand is. Tie the two strands together in a triple knot.
